The Hakko 936 Soldering Station is an excellent choice in soldering stations. The iron itself is a 60watt version that operates on 24volts, provided by the control station. It is settable over the range of 200C to 480C and has exceptional temperature stability of 1°C (1.8°F). The stations digital cousin is the Hakko 937 which adds a
digital readout. The 936 stations’ temperature set point can be locked using a screw to help prevent unintended temperature changes. The 937 stations’ set point is locked with a key card. They are both ESD safe and a nice feature is that the control boxes are stackable to help minimize workbench space occupied.
As with most other stations, all of the major components are replaceable. There is a wide assortment of tips that fit the iron so that you should be able to make uncompromising choices and get outstanding results. These Hakko units make an excellent choice for general purpose soldering and are ESD safe to boot!

Howdy, i study your weblog occasionally and i own a comparable one and i had been just wondering if you get a lot of spam comments? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you are able to advise? I get so much lately it is driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.
I use WordPress as the framework for my blog. The plug-in I use to combat SPAM is “akismet” It works correctly better than 99% of the time. Good luck.

You can add a spot for the Hakko FX 888 which replaced the 936. You could write about counterfeit Hakkos, which are very prolific and users should be warned about paying for a Hakko, and getting a Aoyue? or such. Unlike our WESD51, the digital Hakko is not self calibrating.
